A RESOLUTION

UPDATING THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD THREE-MILE PLAN FOR ANNEXATIONS

WHEREAS, Section 31-12-105(1)(e) of the Colorado Revised Statutes requires that prior to the completion of any annexation within the three-mile area, the municipality shall have in place a plan for that area; and,

WHEREAS, Section 31-12-105(1)(e) of the Colorado Revised Statutes further states that such a Three-Mile Plan shall be updated at least once annually; and,

WHEREAS, the City Council last adopted an update of the Three-Mile Plan on December 8, 2003; and,

WHEREAS, this update of the Three-Mile Plan has been recommended for approval by the Planning Commission of the City of Lakewood in Case No. PL-07-001.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado that:

SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado hereby officially approves and updates the City Three-Mile Plan in the form attached hereto.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on February 26, 2007, at 7 p.m., at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
