RESOLUTION: 2007-5
SUBJECT: Resolution establishing fees for Vesting of Property Rights Applications and for the appeal of any determination of termination of property rights.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution establishing fees for any new vesting of property rights applications and the appeal of the Planning Director determination that the vesting of property rights are terminated subject to Section 17-18-5 of the Zoning Ordinance.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: The attached resolution establishes new fees for the Community Planning and Development Department to review a Vesting of Property Rights application and appeals of the termination of that vesting. City Council adopted an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance relating to vesting of property rights on December 11, 2006. This Resolution will allow the Community Planning and Development Department to collect fees to cover the administrative costs of public notice associated with the required public hearings before the Planning Commission and City Council for such applications.
