ORDINANCE: O-2007-21
SUBJECT: Ordinance vacating a portion of South Indiana Street, West Evans Avenue, West Iliff Avenue, West Iliff Drive and West Vassar Drive
LOCATION: Springfield Green south of Iron Spring Park
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Ordinance.
FUNDING SOURCE: Not applicable.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: Springfield Green was approved in 1986. The public improvements were never completed. The current development plans reflect a different alignment of these roads. The vacation of these rights-of-way will allow the new alignment of these roads to be dedicated by plat.
Ordinance O-2007-9 vacated a small portion of South Indiana Street and West Evans Avenue. This ordinance will vacate all of the remaining roads platted in Springfield Green except West Baltic Drive, South McIntyre Street and West Yale Avenue. The ordinance will become effective upon recordation which will not be done until the property is re-platted.
