ORDINANCE NO: O-2007-5
SUBJECT: Ordinance declaring the City's intent to acquire interests in real property for the Sheridan Sidewalk Project Center Avenue to Virginia Avenue improvement project.
ADDRESS: West side of South Sheridan Boulevard between Center Avenue to Virginia Avenue
RECOMMENDATION: Adoption of this ordinance.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: The City will be constructing sidewalk improvements along the west side of South Sheridan Boulevard between Center Avenue to Virginia Avenue to enhance pedestrian safety along South Sheridan Boulevard. This project is anticipated to start in 2007. In order to start construction of the improvements at the scheduled date, the City needs to start acquiring the property interests necessary for this project.
