RESOLUTION: 2006-66

SUBJECT: Adoption of Master Plan for the redevelopment of Ray Ross Park.

RECOMMENDATION: The Department of Community Resources recommends that the City Council adopt the proposed master plan for the redevelopment of Ray Ross Park Dated June 2006.

FUNDING SOURCE: N/A

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: At the October 2, 2006 City Council Study Session, the Department of Community Resources presented a proposed Master Plan for the Redevelopment of Ray Ross Park. The Plan indicated the complete rebuilding and reconfiguring of the park features. The plan includes three lighted multi-use ballfields, a concession, restroom, and storage building, a picnic pavilion, splash play area, basketball court, skateboard course, playground, walking path, and security lighting.

The Council recommended that the plan be brought forward for formal adoption.
