RESOLUTION: 2006-55
SUBJECT: Appointing and reappointing members to the Lakewood Commission on Cultural Diversity and Human Relations.
RECOMMENDATION: Adoption of this resolution will officially appoint Nancy Murray as a Caucasian member, Chisato Arai as an Asian member, and reappoint Carlos Cuellar as a Hispanic member, Pedro "Pete" Roybal as a Hispanic member, and Karen Kellen as a Caucasian member to the Lakewood Commission on Cultural Diversity and Human Relations.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: The Screening Committee held interviews on September 14, 2006 and wishes to recommend the appointment of the above members to the Lakewood Youth Commission.
