REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
RESOLUTION: 2006-43
SUBJECT: Case MO-05-007
Request approval of an appeal of Planning Commission's decision to modify the existing Springfield Green Official Development Plan (the "Original ODP") for the property located at 2600 South McIntryre Street, Lakewood, Colorado, in order to apply a proposed master plan (the "Master Plan") on a majority of the Springfield Green Subdivision property. The application includes a modification of the Original ODP (the "ODP Modification"), and an alternative modification of the Original ODP (the "ODP Modification Alternative") that includes land use, densities, and unit types.
ADDRESS: 2600 South McIntyre Street
APPLICANT: Carma Lakewood, LLC, CDN Springfield, L.P., Teefam Colorado Land Company, L.P., and Enerwest, Inc., as owners (collectively, the "Applicant").
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the ODP Modification and the ODP Modification Alternative. Planning Commission, by a vote of 6-0 at the June 28, 2006 meeting, APPROVED this request.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: The applicant is requesting to modify the existing Springfield Green Official Development Plan in order to apply a proposed master plan on a majority of the Springfield Green Subdivision property to meet the intent of Note #18 of the Springfield Green Subdivision that includes land use, densities, and unit types. Planning Commission approved this case by a vote of 6 to 0 on June 28, 2006. This case is being appealed to City Council.
