A RESOLUTION
REAPPOINTING TOM GOUGEON AND KATHLEEN CURTIS TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE ALAMEDA CORRIDOR BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 2003-18 the City Council organized the Alameda Corridor Business Improvement District (the "District"); and,
WHEREAS, the said Ordinance No. 2003-18 provided among other things for City Council to appoint electors of the District to the District Board of Directors upon nominations submitted to City Council by the Board of Directors; and,
WHEREAS, Tom Gougeon and Kathleen Curtis have served as Directors of the Alameda Corridor Business Improvement District for terms which will expire on June 30, 2006; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has nominated Tom Gougeon and Kathleen Curtis to serve for new terms of three years commencing July 1, 2006 and Tom Gougeon and Kathleen Curtis are electors of the District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:
SECTION 1. The above and foregoing recitals are incorporated herein by reference and are adopted as findings and determinations of the City Council.
SECTION 2. Tom Gougeon and Kathleen Curtis are appointed to the Board of Directors
of the District, to serve until
June 30, 2009.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its passage
and approval.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on June 12, 2006, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
