A RESOLUTION
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE URBAN DRAINAGE AND FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT FOR ALTERNATIVE ANALYSIS, PRELIMINARY DESIGN AND RIGHTS-OF-WAY DELINEATION FOR DRAINAGE AND FLOOD CONTROL IMPROVEMENT ALONG DRY GULCH IN CONJUNCTION WITH RTD FASTRACKS WEST CORRIDOR PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood's Stormwater Management Utility and the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District fund capital improvement projects; and
WHEREAS, the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District and the City of Lakewood would like to proceed with alternatives analysis, preliminary design and rights-of-way delineation for drainage and flood control improvements along Dry Gulch in conjunction with RTD FasTracks West Corridor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and the City Clerk to attest a contract for alternatives analysis, preliminary design and rights-of-way delineation, including contingencies for drainage and flood control improvement along Dry Gulch, in form approved by the City Attorney. The total contract amount, including contingencies, shall not exceed One Hundred Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($100,000) and the City's share shall not exceed Fifty Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($50,000).
SECTION 2. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized to make payment to the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District in accordance with the terms of said agreement.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on April 10, 2006, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
