RESOLUTION: 2006-26
SUBJECT: Appointing members to the Lakewood Judicial Review Commission.
RECOMMENDATION: Adoption of this resolution will appoint Brooke Jackson as the District Court Judge and Joe Pickard as the First Judicial District Bar Association designee to the Lakewood Judicial Review Commission.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: The Screening Committee wishes to recommend the appointment of the persons named above to the Lakewood Judicial Review Commission. The City Charter establishes two standing positions as members of the Judicial Review Commission. They are, a designee of the Chief Judge of the First Judicial District and a designee of the President of the First Judicial District Bar Association.
