A RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING A TREASURER'S DEED TO THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD FOR A PORTION OF WASHINGTON HEIGHTS PARK AND ARTS CENTER LOCATED AT 6375 WEST 1ST AVENUE THAT WAS NEVER CONVEYED TO THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD.
WHEREAS, Jefferson County Treasurer, has tendered to the City of Lakewood its Treasurer's Deed dated June 1, 2005, and recorded on June 16, 2005, at Reception Number 2005033021, of the records of the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder, conveying a portion of Washington Heights Park and Arts Center located at 6375 West 1st Avenue; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:
SECTION 1. The City of Lakewood does hereby accept, for municipal purposes, the aforesaid Treasurer's Deed bearing acknowledgment dated June 1, 2005.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to record a certified copy of this Resolution with the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on February 13, 2006, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
