A RESOLUTION
REQUESTING REIMBURSEMENT FROM, AND CERTIFYING EXPENDITURES TO, JEFFERSON COUNTY OPEN SPACE FOR IMPROVEMENT EXPENDITURES OF THE AVIATION PARK FOR THE PERIOD COMMENCING FROM AUGUST 1, 2004 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado as follows:
SECTION 1. The City of Lakewood hereby requests from the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, State of Colorado, reimbursement from Jefferson County Open Space, in the amount of one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for the Aviation Park Improvements.
SECTION 2. This Resolution constitutes a certification by the City Council of the City of Lakewood to the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County that the Department of Community Resources of the City of Lakewood has expended one hundred fifty thousand ($150,000) for the purpose of doing some improvements at Aviation Park. This reimbursement is authorized by the Jefferson County Open Space grant awarded to the City of Lakewood for this project in 2004.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on February 13, 2006, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
