AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING SECTION 2.20.050 F. OF THE LAKEWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO COMPENSATION
OF THE MUNICIPAL JUDGES
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:
SECTION 1. Section 2.20.050 F. of the Lakewood Municipal Code is hereby amended and shall be as follows:
Commencing March 26, 2006, the annual salary of the Presiding Municipal Judge shall be One Hundred Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Eighteen Dollars, which includes compensation for administrative duties assigned to the Presiding Municipal Judge; and the annual salary of the Municipal Judges shall be One Hundred Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-Four Dollars. The hourly rate for the Associate Municipal Judges shall be Sixty-Eight Dollars per hour.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after final publication. The salaries contained herein shall be effective March 26, 2006.
I hereby attest and certify that the within and foregoing ordinance was introduced and read on first reading at a regular meeting of the Lakewood City Council on the 10th day of April, 2006; published by title in the Rocky Mountain News and in full on the City of Lakewood's website, www.lakewood.org, on the 13th day of April, 2006; set for public hearing on the 24th day of April, 2006; read, finally passed and adopted by the City Council on the 24th day of April, 2006, and, signed and approved by the Mayor on the 25th day of April, 2006.
