ORDINANCE: O-2006-5
SUBJECT: Ordinance declaring the City's intent to acquire interests in real property for the Sheridan Sidewalk Project Virginia to Alameda improvement project.
ADDRESS: West side of South Sheridan Boulevard between Virginia Avenue and the north property line of that property located at 333 South Sheridan Boulevard.
RECOMMENDATION: Adoption of this ordinance.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: The City will be constructing sidewalk improvements along the west side of South Sheridan Boulevard between Virginia Avenue and the north property line of that property located at 333 South Sheridan Boulevard to enhance pedestrian safety along South Sheridan Boulevard. This project is anticipated to start in 2006. In order to start construction of the improvements at the scheduled date, the City needs to start acquiring the property interests necessary for this project.
