ITEM 1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Burkholder called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Cabinet Room of the Lakewood Civic Center South Building, 480 S. Allison Pkwy. Lakewood, CO.

Full and timely notice of this Study Session Meeting had been given and a quorum was present.
ITEM 3 - PRESENTATION - LIGHT RAIL STATION AREA PLANS, TMU ZONING ORDINANCE, STATION AREA REZONING
Planning Commission Chairman Bill Marino and Roger Wadnal, Manager, Comprehensive Planning and Research Division of the Community Planning and Development Department, presented an update on the Transit Mixed-Used Zone District proposed for the Station Area Plans, the TMU Zone District as an amendment to the Lakewood Zoning Ordinance, and the remapping process and procedures, as well as the remapping proposal for the station areas.
Discussion ensued regarding the public involvement process, public notification process, the City Council and Planning Commission Meetings, and the proposed calendar of events necessary for adoption of the TMU Zoning, Re-mapping process, and amendments to the zoning ordinance.
ITEM 4 - OPEN DISCUSSION
Joni Inman, Director of the Mayor and City Manager's Office, distributed the proposed grant program for funding of neighborhood newsletters. It is scheduled for discussion at a study session in October.
ITEM 5 - REPORTS - MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
Mayor and City Council reported their attendance at previous meetings and events and announced upcoming neighborhood meetings and events.
ITEM 6 - ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council; Mayor Burkholder adjourned the meeting at 9:18 p.m.
