SPECIAL MEETING

Bob Sandridge, Chair called the special meeting of the Housing Authority for June 8, 2006 at 4:05 p.m. to order with roll being called by the Administrative Assistant. The Chair stated a quorum was present.
Bob Sandridge, Chair stated that the purpose of the meeting is for the board of the Lakewood Housing Authority to obtain legal advice regarding contract negotiations and other legal matters.
Sandra Maben has made a motion that the Lakewood Housing Authority Board will now recess the public meeting currently in progress to convene an executive session, which will be closed, to the public. The topics for discussion in the executive session will be:
1) A conference with the attorney for Lakewood Housing Authority for the purpose
of receiving legal advice on specific legal questions pursuant to Section 4(b)
of the Colorado Open Meetings Law,
2) Determining positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations;
developing strategy for negotiations; and instructing negotiators pursuant to
Section 4(e) of the Colorado Open Meetings Law, and
3) Personnel matters concerning the City Housing Manager pursuant to Section
4(f)(I) of the Colorado Open Meetings Law.
Gari Westkott has seconded the motion. A vote of the commissioners was as follows:
Bob Sandridge: aye
Joan Smith: aye
Michelle Bollig: aye
Sandra Maben: aye
Gari Westkott aye
The motion carried.
There was no other business of the Lakewood Housing Authority. Meeting adjourned at 6:58 p.m.
