with other organizations that may have goals or interests that align with the
Commission and to brainstorm other partnerships that may work well with the
Commission's goals. The potential categories of partnerships would be other
commissions in Lakewood, churches, schools, business organizations, neighborhood
associations, other diversity groups in other cities, state or federal organizations
and Lakewood event organizers, form a committee to explore partnership options,
evaluate how each potential organization fits with the strategic plan and to
solicit commissioners interested in championing partnership and develop strategies
with partners regarding the best ways to use partnership to advance goals of
both organizations.
