REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
RESOLUTION: 2005-78
SUBJECT: 2006 One Year Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and Home Investment Partnership (HOME) program.
RECOMMENDATION: That City Council adopt the 2006 One Year Action Plan establishing projects and project funding levels for the Community Development Block Grant and Home Investment Partnership Grant Programs.
FUNDING SOURCE: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership Grant (HOME)
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: Using federal guidelines, staff prepared the One Year Action Plan for the use of CDBG and HOME grant funds expected to be received from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in 2006. The One Year Action Plan also serves as the annual application to HUD for the CDBG and HOME programs. City Council endorsed the One Year Action Plan at their Study Session December 5, 2005, and directed staff to prepare a resolution for adoption at the December 12, 2005 Public Meeting.
