REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION

RESOLUTION: 2005-70

SUBJECT: Appointing members to the Lakewood Commission on Cultural Diversity and Human Relations.

RECOMMENDATION: Adoption of this resolution will officially appoint Eveline Yang, as an Asian member; Jaime di Paulo as an Hispanic member, Cathleen Jones-Gooding and Linda Bessinger as Caucasian members to the Commission.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: The Screening Committee held interviews on November 14, 2005, and wish to recommend the appointment of the above individuals to the Lakewood Commission on Cultural Diversity and Human Relations.
