RESOLUTION: 2005-40
SUBJECT: Bid Award for Sheridan Sidewalk, Mississippi to Kentucky.
RECOMMENDATION: Approval.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
On June 2, 2005 bids for the Sheridan Sidewalk, Mississippi to Kentucky Project, Bid No. 2549, were opened and the firm of Technology Constructors Incorporated was the lowest responsive, responsible and qualified bidder with a bid of $120,735.00. A $12,000.00 contingency is recommended for minor changes for a total contract amount not to exceed $132,735.00.
This project consists of approximately 1,000 feet of sidewalk along the west side of Sheridan Boulevard from Mississippi Avenue to Kentucky Avenue. This sidewalk will provide safe pedestrian access along the west side of Sheridan Blvd.
FUNDING SOURCE: Community Development Block Grant Funds
