A RESOLUTION

AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CITY MANAGER'S EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT DATED AUGUST 30, 2000

WHEREAS, the City Manager and the City Council desire to amend certain terms of the existing Employment Agreement dated August 30, 2000.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1. Section 9(c) of the Employment Agreement by and between the City Council and Michael J. Rock, dated August 30, 2000 is hereby amended, and shall be as follows:

9(c) Rock shall provide his own automobile and the City shall pay to Rock an automobile allowance of $750.00 per month.

SECTION 2. This amendment shall be effective June 1, 2005.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a special meeting of the City Council on May 31, 2005, at 5:45 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood City Hall, Civic Center South, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
