A RESOLUTION

AMENDING CERTAIN ALCOHOL BEVERAGE FEES FOR THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD

WHEREAS, Sections 5.38.130 and 5.40.130 of the Lakewood Municipal Code directs City Council to establish by resolution certain fees to defray the cost of processing the documentation of the activities of alcohol beverage establishments for the City of Lakewood; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend such fees to reflect the increased costs of processing the documentation of activities of alcohol beverage establishments:

Be it Resolved by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1. The city alcohol beverages occupation fee for the business of selling malt, vinous, and spirituous liquors is $1,000 regardless of the type of license held.

SECTION 2. The following fees are hereby imposed to defray the costs of processing the following activities:

New application $500
Transfer of location or ownership $500
License renewal for expired license $500
Annual renewal of license $50
Duplicate license $25
Temporary permit $100
Modification of premises $100
Change in corporate structure $100
(per officer or stockholder)
Change in limited liability company $100
(per managing member)
Manager registration $75
Change of trade or corporate name $25
Expansion for optional premises $75
(to existing hotel & restaurant)
Special events permit (beer, wine, spirits) $25
Special events permit (3.2% beer) $10
Fingerprinitng $38.50

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 8 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on February 14, 2005, at 7 o'clock p.m. at the Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
