SUBJECT: Rezoning Case Number RZ-05-003
Rezone existing property from the R1-A (Residential One Acre) zone district to 2-R (One Family Small Lot Residential) zone district in order to build single-family homes.
ADDRESS: 8140 and 8250 West Mississippi Avenue

RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of this rezoning request. Planning Commission, by a vote of 6 to 0 at the September 21, 2005 meeting, recommends APPROVAL of this request by City Council.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: The applicant has submitted a request to the City to rezone the property located at 8140 and 8250 West Mississippi Avenue from the R1-A (Residential One Acre) zone district to 2-R (One Family Small Lot Residential) zone district in order to build single-family homes.
