ORDINANCE: O-2005-25
SUBJECT: Ordinance vacating the 25 foot Easement For Emergency Vehicles across Tract A, as shown and platted on the plat of College West Estates. Further declaring an emergency.
ADDRESS: Easement for emergency vehicles between West 2nd Place and Zang Street.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of this vacation.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: There was an easement for emergency
vehicle access across Tract A that was shown and platted on the plat of College
West Estates. This easement is no longer necessary due to development of Tract
A. The location of the emergency vehicle access was changed and an easement
for the new location was conveyed to the City of Lakewood. The easement that
was shown on the plat is no longer necessary and should be vacated to clear
up any title issues on the property related to this easement. City staff has
reviewed this request and have no concerns.
