ORDINANCE: O-2005-22
SUBJECT: Rezoning Case Number RZ-04-008
Rezone existing property from the PD (Planned Development) and R1-A (Residential One-Acre) Zone Districts to the PD (Planned Development) Zone District for a 138,000 square foot wholesale retail building and fueling facility.
ADDRESS: 7205 West Quincy Avenue
APPLICANT: Academy Park Venture, LLP, a Colorado limited liability partnership, and Crystal Lake Cemetery Association, Inc., a Minnesota corporation.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of this rezoning request. Planning Commission, by a vote of 4-2 at the May 4, 2005 meeting, recommend APPROVAL of this request by City Council.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: The applicant has applied to the City to rezone the property located at 7205 West Quincy Avenue from the PD (Planned Development) and R1-A (Residential One-Acre) Zone Districts to the PD (Planned Development) Zone District. The applicant is requesting the rezoning in order to construct a 138,000 square foot wholesale retail building and fueling facility. The property is approximately 20 acres in size.
