AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING SECTION 2.20.050 F. OF THE LAKEWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO COMPENSATION
OF THE MUNICIPAL JUDGES
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:
SECTION 1. Section 2.20.050 F. of the Lakewood Municipal Code is hereby amended and shall be as follows:
Commencing March 27, 2005, the annual salary of the Presiding Municipal Judge shall be One Hundred Nine Thousand Two Hundred Forty-One Dollars, which includes compensation for administrative duties assigned to the Presiding Municipal Judge; and the annual salary of the Municipal Judges shall be One Hundred Four Thousand Five Hundred Eighty-Seven Dollars. The hourly rate for the Associate Municipal Judges shall be Sixty-Six Dollars per hour.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after final publication. The salaries contained herein shall be effective March 27, 2005.
I hereby attest and certify that the within and foregoing ordinance was introduced and read on first reading at a regular meeting of the Lakewood City Council on the 28th day of March, 2005; published in full in the Lakewood Sentinel on the 31th day of March, 2005; set for public hearing on the 11th day of April, 2005; read, finally passed and adopted by the City Council on the 11th day of April 2005; and, signed and approved by the Mayor on the 12th day of April, 2005.
