ITEM 1 - CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Burkholder called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers
of the Lakewood Civic Center South Building, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood,
Colorado.
ITEM 2 - ROLL CALL

Staff in attendance: Mike Rock, City Manager

Full and timely notice of this City Council Study Session had been given and a quorum was present.
ITEM 3 - DISCUSSION: PERSONNEL BENEFIT POLICIES
Mayor Burkholder explained that the employee benefits being discussed were for
informational purposes only and would be used as City Council discussed the
2006 Budget.
City Manager Mike Rock stated that the presentation was in answer to several questions from City Council members. He stated that the presentation was not a list of suggested cuts from staff; it was for informational purposes only.
Ken Milano, Director of Employee Relations gave a PowerPoint presentation which included information on Salaries, Furloughs, Benefit Funding, Cafeteria Plans, and Retiree Health.
A question and answer period followed. Ken Milano stated he would get back to City Council with additional information as requested.

None.
ITEM 5 - ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council, Mayor Burkholder adjourned at the meeting at 7:49 p.m.
