ITEM 1 - CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Burkholder called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers
of the Lakewood Civic Center South Building, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood,
Colorado.
ITEM 2 - ROLL CALL
Those present were: Mayor Steve Burkholder, Presiding

Barbara Martin
Mike Stevens
Staff in attendance: Roger Noonan, City Attorney
Joni Inman, Director, Mayor and City Manager's Office
Full and timely notice of this City Council Special Meeting had been given and a quorum was present.
ITEM 3 - EXECUTIVE SESSION - Councilwoman Kesselman made a motion to hold an Executive Session for the purpose of discussing a personnel matter pertaining to the City Manager, per C.R.S. Section 24-6-402(4)(f) and Section 2.15(c)(8) of the Lakewood Home Rule Charter and for the purpose of receiving attorney-client communication per C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(b) and Section 2.15(c)(4) of the Lakewood Home Rule Charter. It was seconded by Councilwoman Koop.
City Attorney Roger Noonan stated that the City Manager is the subject of the
personnel matter being discussed and that the City Manager Mike Rock and his
attorney,
Mr. Berkowitz were notified and have agreed to allow the discussion to be held
in an Executive Session and did not wish to have a public meeting. Although
Mr. Rock and
Mr. Berkowitz will not be in the Executive Session, they will remain in the building and make themselves available if City Council wishes to speak to them.
Vote: 11 Ayes. 0 Nays. The motion carried.
City Council went into an Executive Session at 6:08 p.m.
ITEM 4 - ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council, Mayor Burkholder adjourned the meeting at 11:10 p.m. and City Council went into an Executive Session.
