A RESOLUTION

AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE GRANT AGREEMENT REGARDING THE RAY ROSS PARK MASTER PLANNING

WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood supports the completion of the Ray Ross Park Master Planning; and

WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has received a grant from Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) to fund the Ray Ross Park Master Planning, subject to the execution of a grant agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado hereby authorizes the Director of the Department of Community Resources to sign the grant agreement with GOCO.

SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado hereby authorizes the expenditure of funds as necessary to meet the terms and obligations of the grant agreement and application.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 10 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on November 8, 2004, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
