A RESOLUTION

REQUESTING REIMBURSEMENT FROM, AND CERTIFYING EXPENDITURES TO, JEFFERSON COUNTY OPEN SPACE FOR DEVELOPMENT EXPENDITURES OF THE SIMMS STREET TRAIL FOR THE PERIOD COMMENCING FROM MARCH 1, 2004 THROUGH AUGUST 31, 2004.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado as follows:

SECTION 1. The City of Lakewood hereby requests from the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, State of Colorado, reimbursement from Jefferson County Open Space, in the amount of ninety-five thousand thirty-one dollars ($95,031) for the Simms Street Trail project.

SECTION 2. This Resolution constitutes a certification by the City Council of the City of Lakewood to the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County that the Department of Community Resources of the City of Lakewood has expended ninety five thousand thirty-one dollars ($95,031) for the purpose of completing Simms Street Trail. This reimbursement is authorized by the Jefferson County Open Space grant awarded to the City of Lakewood for this project in 2002.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on October 11, 2004, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
