RESOLUTION: 2004-72
SUBJECT: Resolution authorizing the existing private parking spaces to remain in the West Kentucky Avenue right of way
ADDRESS: 875 South Sheridan Boulevard
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution.
FUNDING SOURCE: Not applicable.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: The South Sheridan Baptist Church was platted on September 26, 1979 and included the dedication of an additional 5 feet of right of way along West Kentucky Avenue. A re-subdivision of the property is being processed which has revealed that parking spaces for the church remain in this dedicated area to this day. No further widening of West Kentucky Avenue is anticipated in the near future. A license agreement would allow the parking spaces to remain until the site is redeveloped in the future.
