A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING A REVOCABLE LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD AND SOUTH SHERIDAN BAPTIST CHURCH FOR THE EXISTING PRIVATE PARKING IN THE WEST KENTUCKY AVENUE RIGHT OF WAY
WHEREAS, South Sheridan Baptist Church has requested a Revocable License
Agreement from the City of Lakewood to allow the existing parking spaces to
remain in the right of way for West Kentucky Avenue adjacent to 875 South
Sheridan Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to allow said use of the portion of said street right-of-way
as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof,
for the existing parking spaces to remain in accordance with the terms and
conditions of a Revocable License Agreement issued by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, a Revocable License Agreement between the City of Lakewood and South Sheridan Baptist Church in form approved by the City Attorney, for the use described above of the City-owned street right-of-way described in Exhibit "A" hereto.
SECTION 2. A provision has been made to make the license agreement subject to an annual fee once established by the City. The fee would cover necessary inspections by the City to assure that it is maintained in good condition and for administrative costs.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 9 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on July 26, 2004, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.

EXHIBIT A
A parcel of land dedicated by the SOUTH SHERIDAN BAPTIST CHURCH subdivision located in the Southeast One-quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South, Range 69 West of the 6th Principal Meridian being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of the additional right of way dedicated by SOUTH SHERIDAN BAPTIST CHURCH as shown in Plat book 61 at Page 1 of the official records of the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder's Office; thence North along the West edge of said additional right of way N 0°47'16" W a distance of 5 feet; thence N89°12'44"E along the southerly line of Lot 1 Block 1 of SOUTH SHERIDAN BAPTIST CHURCH a distance of 363.17 feet; thence S 0°47'16" E a distance of 5 feet to the South line of said additional right of way; thence continuing S 0°47'16" E a distance of 2 feet; thence S 89°12'46" W and parallel with the South line of said additional right of way a distance of 363.17 feet; thence North along the West edge of said additional right of way extended N 0°47'16" W a distance of 2 feet to the point of BEGINNING.
