A RESOLUTION

AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE GRANT AGREEMENT REGARDING THE LAKEWOOD BIKE TRAIL MASTER PLAN AND AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY RESOURCES TO SIGN THE GRANT AGREEMENT

WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has been awarded a grant from the Colorado State Parks Trails Program to fund the Lakewood Bike Trail Master Plan, and;

WHEREAS, Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) administers the planning grants for the Colorado State Parks Trails Program

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado hereby approves the terms and conditions of the grant agreement and authorizes the execution of the grant agreement.

SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado hereby authorizes the Director of the Department of Community Resources to sign the grant agreement regarding the Lakewood Bike Trail Master Plan project with the Colorado State Parks Trails Program.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 10 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on June 28, 2004, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood City Hall, Civic Center South, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
