RESOLUTION: 2004-52
SUBJECT: Annexation Case No. AX-03-001. A resolution finding a petition for the annexation of 77.36 acres, located at 3800 South Pierce Street to be in substantial compliance with the Colorado State Statutes.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: A Petition for Annexation has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the City Council consider annexation of a parcel of land and a resolution finding the petition to be in substantial compliance with C.R.S. 31-12-107(1) was adopted on April 12, 2004. The notice of the public hearing on the annexation before the City Council was published in a newspaper of general circulation in the City for four consecutive weeks, the first of which was more than thirty (30) days prior to the date established for the hearing.
During the public hearing the City Council will be presented evidence regarding compliance with the statutory requirements for annexation and, at the conclusion of the hearing, will consider the resolution of findings of fact.
