RESOLUTION: 2004-51
SUBJECT: Certify expenditures to, and request reimbursement from, Jefferson County Open Space for development expenditures at Bear Creek Lake Park, Swim Beach and Marina Improvements project.
ADDRESS: 15600 W. Morrison Road, Morrison, CO 80465
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended City Council authorize the Department of Community Resources to request reimbursement from Jefferson County Open Space, in the amount of Seventy-six thousand eighty-seven dollars ($76,087) for work completed during the period of April 1, 2003 through April 30, 2004.
FUNDING SOURCE: Open Space Fund
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: In 2001, the City of Lakewood was awarded a grant from Jefferson County Open Space for the Bear Creek Lake Park, Swim Beach and Marina Improvements Project. The Department of Community Resources has completed the shelter, pad and paving at the Bear Creek Lake Park Swim Beach and is now requesting reimbursement.
