A RESOLUTION

REQUESTING REIMBURSEMENT FROM, AND CERTIFYING EXPENDITURES TO, JEFFERSON COUNTY OPEN SPACE FOR DEVELOPMENT EXPENDITURES AT BEAR CREEK LAKE PARK FOR THE PERIOD COMMENCING FROM APRIL 1, 2003 THROUGH APRIL 30, 2004.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado as follows:

SECTION 1. The City of Lakewood hereby requests from the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, State of Colorado, reimbursement from Jefferson County Open Space, in the amount of seventy six thousand eighty-seven dollars ($76,087) Swim Beach and Marina Improvements project fund.

SECTION 2. This Resolution constitutes a certification by the City Council of the City of Lakewood to the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County that the Department of Community Resources of the City of Lakewood has expended one hundred fifty two thousand one hundred seventy four dollars and sixty two cents ($152,174.62) for the purpose of completing the shelter, pad and paving at the Bear Creek Lake Park Swim Beach. This reimbursement is authorized by the Jefferson County Open Space grant awarded to the City of Lakewood for this project in 2001.
