A RESOLUTION

AUTHORIZING THE CREATION OF THE MAYOR'S AD HOC FINANCIAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND APPOINTING MEMBERS THERETO

WHEREAS, the Mayor has created an Ad Hoc Financial Advisory Committee for the purpose of reviewing and making recommendations regarding the budget and budget process for the City of Lakewood; and

WHEREAS, the residents of the City of Lakewood will benefit from an outside perspective; and

WHEREAS, the Committee will consist of members of the community who bring a broad spectrum of private sector financial experience; and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lakewood wishes to ratify the Mayor's creation of, and appointments to, the Mayor's Ad Hoc Financial Advisory Committee.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1. Creation of the Mayor's Ad Hoc Financial Advisory Committee is hereby ratified.

SECTION 2. The purpose of the Committee is to review and make recommendations regarding the budget and budget processes for the City of Lakewood.

SECTION 3. Persons appointed to the Committee will have some private sector financial experience.

SECTION 4. The following persons are hereby appointed as members to the Mayor's Ad Hoc Financial Advisory Committee and will serve as members of said Committee until December 31, 2005.

Ray Elliott, Don Ferega, Pam Feely, Jay Fox, Kelso Kelly, Pamela Lorenz

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on April 12, 2004, at 7 o'clock p.m. at the Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
