RESOLUTION: 2004-37
SUBJECT: Resolution authorizing Revocable License Agreement for the construction of a six foot high by 8 foot long granite neighborhood identification sign in City-owned right-of-way for South Alkire Street, to Green Mountainside Civic Association, Inc.
ADDRESS: Southwest corner of South Alkire Street and West Cedar Drive.
RECOMMENDATION: Authorization of the requested Revocable License Agreement.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: Green Mountainside Civic Association,
Inc. has requested to place a neighborhood identification sign on the South
Alkire Street right-of-way to replace the existing identification sign for better
visibility. This new identification sign will placed to the North of the existing
sign closer to the curve and will be maintained by the Association. The existing
identification sign will be removed and the new sign will be installed by the
Association and at their own expense. The proposal has been reviewed by City
staff, and is acceptable from the aspect of presenting no hazards or creating
other problems.
