A RESOLUTION

AUTHORIZING A REVOCABLE LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD AND GREEN MOUNTAINSIDE CIVIC ASSOCIATION, INC., ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF SOUTH ALKIRE STREET, TO ALLOW PLACEMENT OF A NEIGHBORHOOD IDENTIFICATION SIGN.

WHEREAS, Green Mountainside Civic Association, Inc., has requested a Revocable License Agreement from the City of Lakewood to allow placement of a neighborhood identification sign on land owned by the City as a portion of South Alkire Street; and

WHEREAS, the City wishes to allow said use of the portion of said street right-of-way as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, for installation, maintenance and replacement of a neighborhood identification sign in accordance with the terms and conditions of a Revocable License Agreement issued by the City.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, a Revocable License Agreement between the City of Lakewood and Green Mountainside Civic Association, Inc., in form approved by the City Attorney, for the use described above of the City-owned street right-of-way described in Exhibit "A" hereto.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on April 12, 2004 at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center South, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.

Exhibit A

A parcel of land lying in the Northeast One-quarter (NE¼) of Section 18, Township 4 South, Range 69 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, City of Lakewood, County of Jefferson, State of Colorado, more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at the Northeast corner of said NE¼; thence westerly along the North line of said NE¼, a distance of 165.00 feet; thence southerly along a line parallel with the East line of said NE¼, a distance of 104.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence continuing southerly along said parallel line, a distance of 10.00 feet; thence westerly along a line parallel with said North line, a distance of 10.00 feet; thence northerly along a line parallel with said East line, a distance of 10.00 feet; thence easterly along a line parallel with said North line, a distance of 10.00 feet, more or less, to the True Point of Beginning.
