SUBJECT: A Resolution endorsing the City's efforts to obtain equitable transportation funding through the Jefferson County Transportation Advisory and Advocacy Group (JEFFTAAG)

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: The City of Lakewood participates in the Jefferson County Transportation Advisory and Advocacy Group. This group has studied the distribution of transportation funds throughout the state and the region and determined that the citizens of Jefferson County are not receiving an equitable return on their tax dollars in this area. The Resolution is intended to express support for these findings.
