A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING AN APPLICATION FOR A GRANT FROM THE JEFFERSON COUNTY OPEN SPACE VENTURE PROGRAM FOR IMPROVEMENTS AT THE BEAR CREEK LAKE PARK CAMPGROUND.
WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has planned for the improvement of facilities at Bear Creek Lake Park; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Community Resources is continually seeking alternative funds to improve city facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood, Department of Community Resources is applying for a grant from Jefferson County Open Space Venture Program; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Open Space Venture Program requires a resolution supporting the grant application from the governing body of the agency applying for the grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado hereby support the city grant application to Jefferson County Open Space Venture Program.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on December 13, 2004, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
