RECOMMENDATION: Approval of Resolution to Approve the Lakewood Comprehensive Plan Action Steps as an amendment to the Lakewood Comprehensive Plan

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: On January 5, 2004, the Planning Commission presented the newly adopted Lakewood Comprehensive Plan Action Steps to City Council at a Study Session. Planning Commission adopted the Comprehensive Plan Action Steps on December 17, 2003. The Comprehensive Plan Action Steps are a set of specific measures designed to implement the vision, goals and policies contained in the Comprehensive Plan. The Action Steps were developed through a public process and have been completely reviewed by all departments in the City.
