RESOLUTION: 2004-6
SUBJECT: Resolution authorizing Revocable License Agreement for the construction of a block retaining wall in City-owned right-of-way for South Estes Street, to First Jefferson Green Homeowners Association.
ADDRESS: West side of South Estes Street south of West Girton Drive.
RECOMMENDATION: Authorization of the requested Revocable License Agreement.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: First Jefferson Green Homeowners
Association has requested that the City grant them a Revocable License agreement
to replace a wood retaining wall that had rotted away and leaning towards the
existing sidewalk with a dry stack block wall. The improvements would be within
unused right-of-way for South Estes Street. This portion of the right-of-way
is currently not being used except for landscaping improvements. The wall will
prevent the eroding of these improvements on to the existing sidewalk. The proposal
has been reviewed by City staff, and is acceptable from the aspect of presenting
no hazards or creating other problems.
RESOLUTION ADOPTION DATE: January 12, 2004.
