SUBJECT: Third Amendment to the Lakewood Employees Money Purchase Pension Plan

RECOMMENDATION: Mayor and City Council approve the amendment
FUNDING SOURCE: No budget implication
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: This amendment has been recommended by the Lakewood Employees Money Purchase Plan Board. The amendment changes the rules on distributions from the plan to incorporate the I.R.S. rules. See attached letter from Stephen Weinstein in the City Attorney's office for a more detailed explanation of the changes.
