SUBJECT: Fourth Amendment to the Lakewood Police Money Purchase Pension Plan

RECOMMENDATION: Mayor and City Council approve the amendment
FUNDING SOURCE: No budget implication
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: This amendment has been recommended by the Lakewood Police Money Purchase Plan Board. The amendment changes the rules on minimum distributions from the plan to incorporate I.R.S. rules. See attached letter from Stephen Weinstein in the City Attorney's office for a more detailed explanation of the changes.
