ORDINANCE: O-2004-8
SUBJECT: Ordinance declaring the City's intent to acquire interests in real property for the West 14th Avenue/Estes Sidewalk Improvement Project.
ADDRESS: Intersection of West 14th Avenue and Estes Street.
RECOMMENDATION: Adoption of this ordinance.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: The City will be constructing sidewalk improvements at the intersection of West 14th Avenue and Estes Street to enhance pedestrian safety at the intersection. This project is anticipated to start summer of 2004. In order to start construction of the improvements at the scheduled date, the City needs to start acquiring the property interests necessary for this project. The Right of Way and Construction plans should be available near the end of April 2004.
