APPROVAL OF MINUTES

NEW BUSINESS

Bob Zachman proposed a re-allocation of funds given to us by City Council for operating of the HCA Commission. It was proposed that this money ($250) be used for HCA Programs. Other city commissions are proposing similar allocations. The motion was approved by Jennifer, seconded by David, and approved unanimously.

Bob Zachman gave a report on the Arts Link in Lakewood Breakfast, May 18th, and stated that Dr. Sumner will be assisting in the Co-Chair position in the next year. The next meeting will be Sept. 21st at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. The May 2005 meeting will be at Rockley Music.

The Century Theatre's Grand Opening Celebration on Tuesday, June 15th will be a Benefit for the Arts in Lakewood, to be known as Art Ventures. Commissioners were urged to attend this activity if possible.

STAFF REPORTS

Because of the nature of this meeting, the business portion was shortened to allow for a tour of RMCAD and time for questions. The Rotunda was the highlight of the tour, with the impressive work done on the roof restoration being noted..

Meeting was adjourned after approximately twenty minutes and Dr. Sumner began the tour.
