Regular Meeting of the Lakewood Liquor and Fermented Malt Beverage Licensing Authority was held on this date in the City Council Chambers.
ITEM 1. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Taake called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Full and timely notice of this meeting had been given and a quorum was present.
ITEM 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Regular Meeting February 12, 2004
Regular Meeting February 26, 2004
Mr. Wisneski moved to approve the minutes of the regular meetings held February 12, 2004, and February 26, 2004. The motion was seconded and with those present voting Aye, THE MOTION TO APPROVE THE MINUTES CARRIED.
ITEM 4. NEW APPLICATION
Hotel & Restaurant License
Restaurant Investments, L.L.C.
d/b/a Serranos Mexican Cuisine
13701 W. Jewell Ave. #103
Attorney Russell stated that she had reviewed the application and all the documents appeared to be in order.
V.J. Chukkapalli, 26 W. Dry Creek Cir, #340, Littleton, appeared before the Authority and was sworn in. He stated that this is a new restaurant and he feels the neighborhood needs them to provide alcohol. Mr. Chukkaplli testified that he owns the shopping center where the restaurant is located. He also told the Authority that he has attended the alcohol training class put on by the city.
John Lozano, 3318 Kings Valley West, Conifer, appeared before the Authority and was sworn in. He testified that he was one of two individuals who collected the signatures on the petitions. He owns a business in the center and put the petitions on his counter.
Margaret Hernandez, 1685 Reed St. #14, appeared before the Authority and was sworn in. She testified that she too collected signatures on the petitions both by walking the neighborhood and placing them on the counter in the restaurant.
The public testimony was closed.
Mr. Wisneski moved to approve the Hotel & Restaurant License Application of Restaurant Investments, L.L.C., d/b/a Serranos Mexican Cuisine located at 13701 W. Jewell Ave. #103. The motion was seconded and with those present voting Aye, THE MOTION TO APPROVE THE LICENSE CARRIED.
ITEM 5. GENERAL BUSINESS
There was no general business to be discussed.
ITEM 6. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Authority, Chairman Taake adjourned the meeting at 7:15 p.m.
