RESOLUTION: 2003-40
SUBJECT: A resolution approving renewal of the contract between the City of Lakewood and Gorsuch Kirgis LLP for legal services.
RECOMMENDATION: Adopt the resolution.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: On May 19, 2003, the City Council reviewed the performance of Gorsuch Kirgis LLP to provide the legal services for the City Council on behalf of the City of Lakewood. The renewal of the contract is proposed for an additional three years through April 30, 2006. The terms of the new contract are the same as the existing contract. On behalf of Gorsuch Kirgis LLP, the City Attorney respectfully requests the favorable action by the City Council to renew this contract.
