RESOLUTION: 2003-82
SUBJECT: License agreement to allow for a bronze statue to be located within the Hawthorne Road right-of-way.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution
FUNDING SOURCE: Application fee.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
Denver West made a commitment to the Wide Acres - Orchard Addition neighborhood
that a bronze sculpture would be placed within their neighborhood, similar to
those that are located in the office park to the north, the retail plaza to
the northwest and Colorado Mills directly to the west.
The proposed location is just south of the old Hawthorne Road that serves the existing homes on the east side of the road. The location will not obstruct traffic visibility or interfere with traffic flow.
